The landscape of the Masai Mara is simply enchanting: golden-yellow grassland or picturesque hills – depending on which part of the Masai Mara you are in. The legendary wildebeest migration from Serengeti to Masai Mara in particular is an impressive natural spectacle (usually between July and October) and the big cats are not missing.
In general, the animal wealth of the Masai Mara will overwhelm you. Not only the Big Five feel at home here, especially the large herds of grass-eaters and giraffes in the vastness of the savannah inspire the visitor.

Day 1: Nairobi - Masai Mara
At around 8 am you will be picked up from your accommodation in Nairobi and transferred to the Wilson Domestic Airport. The flight departs at 10 am to Masai Mara National Reserve. You will arrive after about an hour’s flight. An experienced driver from the camp is already waiting for you.
On the way to your accommodation you will see the first wild animals such as antelopes, gazelles, zebras and maybe even lions.
After a tasty lunch you have time to review your first impressions and to relax a little.
At 3.30 pm you start another game drive until sunset in Kenya’s most animal-rich reserve.
After dinner, you can sit by the campfireand admire the stars. Listen to the sounds of the night before falling asleep and look forward to another eventful day (L/D).
Day 2: Masai Mara - Nairobi
Before breakfast, you start for an early game drive, the best time to see the hunters of the savannah in action. Since it can be still cool we recommend to put on a jacket.
You will be back at your accommodation for breakfast. You will be taken to the airstrip at around 10 am, from where you will fly back at 11.15 am to Wilson Domestic Airport in Nairobi. After arrival, we will take you back to your accommodation in Nairobi or to the international airport (B).
